We believe there is one and only one true and living God who is supreme in power, yet personal and perfect in all of His attributes. He is the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Eternal Ruler of the universe who reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit which we refer to as the “Trinity of God”. He is all knowing, ever present, everywhere. His love is endless, His leadership essential, and His longing is expressed throughout the pages of scripture and through the power of His Holy Spirit, which is that all mankind have a working relationship with Him through His Divine Son Jesus Christ. The birth of Jesus was prophesied and accomplished through the womb of a virgin woman.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible word of God through which He reveals Himself to mankind. It is a perfect treasure of divine principles and instructions of truth without any error. Its' contents are understood through the illumination of Holy Spirit as they call for the world to have a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Bible’s message is complete and unchangeable as it reveals the future and fate of all mankind.
We believe that Satan is an angel who was created by God but chose to rebel against Him which led to his expulsion from Heaven. Today he continues his state of rebellion along with other fallen angels who have chosen to follow his lead and efforts to tempt mankind to sin against God.
We reject the theory of evolution, believing that God created man in His own image after which He created woman to be his mate in the Garden of Eden. They were innocent and given the freedom of choice. As a result of Satan’s temptation, their innocence was lost when they chose to disobey God, thus committing the first sin, breaking fellowship they had with their creator.
We believe that all men lose their innocence by their own sinful actions which condemn them to the eternal torment of hell. Hell was prepared for Satan and his followers and Scripture teaches the only way to escape that fate is for an individual to confess Christ as Lord, and place their faith and hope in His Redemptive work on the Cross of Calvary and through Repentance experience a personal, spiritual rebirth or Regeneration. By his own blood, Christ obtained eternal Redemption for the believer who receives the gift of the Holy Spirit along with the promise of an eternal heavenly home at the moment he accepts Christ as his personal Savior.
We practice Christian Baptism which scriptures teach is to follow the believer’s profession of faith in Jesus Christ. It is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience which represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. We observe the Lord’s Supper as a symbolic act of obedience. With bread and juice we memorialize the death of our Redeemer as we anticipate His soon return when He will rapture His Church.
We believe the church is not merely brick and wood, but rather the believers who are spiritually washed in the perfect, pure blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Our church operates as an autonomous local congregation in cooperation with our sister churches that are associated to us as members of the family of God.
We believe our Savior commissioned us to evangelize the world with his gospel of grace, peace, and hope. We invite you to join our church in its efforts to fulfill that commission as we grow in the grace and knowledge that comes with serving Him. Our prayer is that you enjoy a meaningful relationship with God and that you find your place of service in the work which He has for you.
